Quick update!

Taking a break in between word sprints via our region's ustream channel. Just wanted to let interested folks know that I have reached my goal of 10k words by the weekend (currently sitting at 10,423). Planning on writing lots, lots more with the help of our fearless municipal liaison (ML), Mary. :)

Also, I have a potential Little Sister match named AnnJanae, who is in third grade. She sounds like a kid I could get along with -- more arts and crafts/music/drawing oriented than sports or outdoor activities. I'm really excited to meet her next week!

What a great weekend so far! I return now to my world of literary madness! MUAHAHAHAA!!!
